SideEYE

Privacy

SideEYE is a public discussion service. Public profiles, tea, comments, and visible engagement may be read by anyone. Account email addresses and authentication credentials are not displayed publicly.

Information SideEYE stores

The service stores account identifiers, usernames, optional profile information, tea, comments, sugar-cube votes, saved tea, reports, moderation records, participation restrictions, and in-app notifications. Authentication records are handled through Supabase. Cloudflare provides the production network, application runtime, security services, and Turnstile bot protection.

Why the information is used

Information is used to operate accounts, display discussions, rank and save content, deliver notifications, investigate reports, enforce community rules, prevent abuse, secure the service, and maintain the application.

Public content

Anything posted publicly should be treated as public information. Removing content from normal display does not guarantee that copies, screenshots, search-engine caches, or lawful records held by others disappear.

Moderation and security records

Reports and moderation records are restricted to the people authorized to review them. Technical providers may also retain security and operational logs according to their own service policies and configured retention periods.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and your own eligible content from the application. Saved tea and notifications can be removed from your account. SideEYE may add additional account-data request procedures as the service develops.
